Ashbrook Plant Hire spreads Xmas joy by saving workers jobs
This press release reached me last Thursday when I was on my travels, but I am delighted to post the good news today in the run up to the festive period. Cheshire based family Plant Hire firm Ashbrook Plant, has confirmed it has acquired from the administrators, (of the business formerly known as Hewden Stuart Limited), the Plant Hire yards in Warrington and Bangor.
Speaking after the completion of the deal Ashbrook Plant Hire Managing Director James Ashbrook said. "Whilst we were all sad to see the news regarding Hewden, we are pleased to report that we were able to react quickly and diligently to secure both depots and assets. In addition to the future and livelihood of the workforce in Warrington and Bangor".
The new business will be called Ashbrook (Warrington) & (Bangor) Ltd respectively and will be based at the same locations previously operated by Hewden.
Mr Ashbrook commenting further said " We are open for business and working with Customers to ensure a smooth transition. We have already invested over £3 million pounds in new Access Platforms, Cherry Pickers and Dumpers to add to the existing Plant fleet.
All ensuring contractors across Cheshire and North Wales have the very latest machines to minimise down time and maximise productivity".
