Bauma Reveal for Takeuchi’s Latest 3-Series Models
Expectation is high for what will be the first official public appearance in Europe of the latest additions to Takeuchi’s 3-Series range of mini excavators which will be on the stand at Bauma 2022.
Fans of the “Red & Grey” will be delighted to see the 3 new additions to the range, joining the previously launched TB370 and TB325R in the line-up.
The short tail swing compact Takeuchi TB335R has an operating weight of 3,760 kgs. (8,290 lbs.), a maximum bucket breakout force of 27.1 kN (6,090 lbs.) and a maximum arm digging force of 20.6 kN (4,630 lbs.)
The machine is powered by an EU Stage V emissions-compliant diesel engine delivering 18.2 kW (24.4 hp) and a maximum torque of 95.8 Nm (70.6 ft-lbs).
Two working modes are provided – Standard and ECO – allowing operators to match the mode to the task at hand, choosing fuel savings or more power as desired.
The TB335R’s cab is said to offer a wide range of advanced features including a 7.0-inch touchscreen, multi-function colour display. Canopy models offer a 4.3-inch multi-informational display. Cab models also feature heat, defrost, windshield wiper and washer, skylight w/ sunshade and DAB digital radio with Bluetooth technology.
Also making an appearance will be the TB335R’s big brother, the 5-tonne class TB350R which features a Stage V emissions compliant engine offering a power output of 32.4kw (43.4hp). The model also features improved off-set boom angles of 71o to the left and 55o to the right.
Fans of the ever-popular wheeled TB295W midi ‘rubber duck’ will be delighted to see the latest 3-Series upgrade the TB395W which tips the scales at just over 10-tonnes.
I look forward to getting “hands on” with the new models for Earthmovers Magazine in due course.
