Compact tracked loader Finnish style

Compact wheeled loaders converted to tracks have been dabbled with by a number of companies over the years but none have been quite as stylish as this purpose built machine from Finnish manufacturer Norcar.

According to the manufacturer this Norcar A7545 4T loader has unbeatable traction even in the harshest of conditions. The track drive allows you to go where no conventional wheeled compact loader could, enabling you to carry up to 1500kg loads in difficult terrain. Being of Nordic decent the machine features a fully heated cab to deal with the coldest of winters.

The machine is powered by a popular 45hp Kubota turbo diesel engine and the four hydraulic motors distribute power evenly to each track. The wide track foot print (35cm-90cm) provides excellent traction and low ground pressure, at only 170g/cm². Originally launched in 2015 this niche machine could find friends in a wide variety of applications.

The machine was recently demonstrated at the excellent Maskinexpo plant and machinery show in Stockholm, Sweden and plant enthusiast Chris Maginnis the founder of the Awesome Earthmovers website was there this time to catch this machine in action.

An interesting concept I'm sure you will agree and with the ability to add an arsenal of attachments to the business end of the loader, a very versatile machine too.
