Digging Deep with Digbits
I don’t think there is anyone with more passion for digger buckets and attachments, than Marcus Clay of Staffordshire based Digbits.
I have had the pleasure of visiting Digbits on numerous occasions over the years, in both capacities as a reporter for Earthmovers Magazine, and as a so-called social media influencer (my god I hate that term!) in addition to being a small customer when I had my own diggers, and one thing that always strikes me is the enthusiasm, and knowledge that Marcus and his father John have for the excavator attachment game.
The business was founded by John Clay way back in 1991, John himself already had a phenomenal working track record in the heavy plant and machinery industry, before taking the decision to found Digbits.
The company produces all its buckets and attachments here in the UK in their own purpose-built facilities in Rugeley, Staffs, which is not a million miles away from that other iconic Staffordshire based manufacturer JCB.
The products are extremely well made and as previously mentioned, made in Britain, which can only be a good thing, but above all else, they are quite simply lovely people to deal with.
So, I was delighted to see this new series of videos, one of which is attached below, which bears all the hallmarks of a very well-known videographer, appearing on the internet, and well deserving of a place here on the Digger Man Blog, a platform that Digbits has been a great supporter of over the years since its inception back in 2008, and for a long time previously they have hosted a link to this blog within their own website, something that we thank Marcus and John for!
