Gearing Up for Bauma (Hidromek)

In what will be the last in our Gearing up for Bauma series, we take a look at Turkish construction machinery manufacturer Hidromek, who once again will have a strong presence at Bauma, showcasing new and upgraded models from their range of equipment, and the addition of a totally new product to the range.

Gearing Up for Bauma (Hidromek)

Hidromek will exhibit 22 machines and their latest technological innovations on its 2176m3 stand space in the Bauma outdoor area booth number FN918/1.

The big news will be the launch of the companies largest ever hydraulic excavator, the 80-tonne class HMK800LC. This machine will be aimed at the heavy-duty mining sector, such as marble quarries which are extremely popular in the manufacturers domestic market, some of which I have toured with Hidromek previously, and for the heavy earth moving sector.

The machine features a 5.2 m³ standard bucket capacity, a 6.7-meter boom, a 2.7-meter arm and a 512 HP engine.

Hidromek will also showcase its latest version of the 22-24 tonne class hydraulic excavator the HMK230LC ‘NEXT’. This machine will feature equipment such as 360° camera system, 2D assistant system, attachment management system and load assistant which will improve the operators’ control of both the work site and the machine and will increase productivity to higher levels.

Two specialist demolition machines will also be presented at the exhibition, featuring 24 metre and 13 metre booms respectively.

We have been waiting for these a long time, but at Bauma Hidromek will present two new midi excavators weighing in at 7.2-tonne and 8.7-tonnes these compact radius machines are sure to attract a lot of attention.

In addition, the short-tailed excavator model HMK 235LCR will be presented to visitors for the first time at Bauma 2025 with its new design.

Rumour also circulating is that they will present a new telehandler into the range, which is a totally new sector for Hidromek, so there will be plenty to see in Munich, in addition to their line up of backhoe loaders, wheeled loaders, single drum vibratory rollers and motor graders.
