Getting Festive at Finning Cat

Never one to venture far from his comfort zone around the town of Llantrisant in South Wales, our old mate Kenneth Hatcher spent last Saturday evening taking his annual pilgrimage to the local Caterpillar dealer’s yard to checkout this year’s Christmas display.

Ken who is a self-confessed life-long Caterpillar fan and previously a long-term Cat backhoe loader operator, kindly sent in some photos from his visit to share here on the Digger Man Blog.

Finning always put a good effort into its festive display on the grassy bank outside the Llantrisant headquarters. This year the machine of choice is the ever popular 8-tonne offering the 308 CR Next Generation model which has been adorned with fairy lights and is joined by an inflatable and illuminated Father Christmas.

A focal point in the town for young fans of diggers and Christmas and even big kids at Christmas time.
