Kobelco’s SK210LC-10 from an Australian perspective

When surfing around the internet I always enjoy watching the Australian Trade Earthmovers reviews by old school plant man Ron Horner, I recently spotted this one where Ron reviews the Kobelco SK210LC-10 and thought it would be great to post it here on the Digger Man Blog.

Kobelco’s SK210LC-10 from an Australian perspective
We first caught sight of Kobelco’s replacement for the outgoing generation 9 models, the generation 10 at the Intermat trade show in Paris in 2015, which coincidentally, comes around again next year. These machines were the first models to receive Stage 4 Final emissions compliant engines. The SK210LC-10 takes its power from a 4 cylinder Hino engine which offers a power output rating of 166hp (124kw) @2000rpm. As we would expect from such a premium brand the machine is quick, powerful and smooth as silk in operation, with cab comfort levels as good as any in the business. But let’s see what Ron thinks of this distinctive looking blue machine “down under” in Australia.
