Kubota Goes Large at Bauma

Japanese manufacturer Kubota is making some big new additions to their range of excavators at Bauma 2025.

Kubota Goes Large at Bauma

Hot on the heels of Kubota’s announcement of adding two new 9-11 tonne wheeled excavators, with the launch of the KW095 and KW115 as part of a partnership with Liebherr, they are also showcasing the long awaited 14-tonne class compact radius U145 which will be officially launched into the European market at Bauma.

The machine as we all know is a product of Sumitomo Construction Machinery and is a well proven and highly respected piece of kit, and this OEM agreement with Kubota will be a great partnership going forward as these larger machines will compliment Kubota’s existing range of mini excavators from sub-1-tonne up to 8-tonnes.

We actually reported on this back in 2023 when an image of the machine, which was displayed in Venice at a dealer event, was leaked by a rogue reporter, who obviously didn’t read the NDA and it spread across social media rapidly.

We were respectfully asked to remove the post, which of course we did, but now we can look forward to seeing the new addition in person at Bauma, which is sure to be a game changer for Kubota in the European market.
