Kubota Upgrade offers Premium Comfort

It was a rather manic period last week, having spent two days with Bobcat in Prague, it was straight off the plane and heading for Oxfordshire in preparation for a day with Kubota, where they revealed the all new 8-tonne class KX085-5, the long-awaited replacement for the hugely successful KX080-4@2.

The new Kubota model features a whole raft of improvements, not only in the cab but under the skin too, which I will be writing about in more depth in Earthmovers Magazine in due course, so I won’t go into too much detail here on the blog.

However, I’m keen to share my video from the Kubota event, where I became the first operator/journalist/blogger, to get “hands on” with the new KX085-5 which was the first example to be seen anywhere in Europe, so it was a great honour to spend some time in the seat, and to share that experience with my great friend and colleague Peter Haddock of Content with Media who was capturing the action on camera.

You will be able to see this machine “in the metal” at Plantworx 2023 where it will make it's first public appearance in Europe on the Kubota UK stand.
