Rotating and Tilting in Cornwall

At the recent Royal Cornwall Show, I had the pleasure to come across the new dealers for Rototilt in the South West, family run business MH Groundworks, who are based in Helston, Cornwall.

The company is headed by Matthew Hendy, supported by wife Catherine, with daughter Daisy destined to be the next generation. The firm is engaged in a wide range of commercial and residential groundworks projects, and run a wide range of machines and transport, they are also staunch supporters of the tiltrotator concept and run Rototilt units on their own machines, so its safe to say they know a thing or two about them.

MH Groundworks had been appointed as Rototilt dealers just prior to the Royal Cornwall Show and managed to secure stand space at the prestigious event to spread the word, they had a couple of their fleet machines on the stand, a Sany SY26U zero tailswing mini excavator fitted with an Rototilt R1 unit, and a JCB 86 C-2 midi excavator fitted with an Rototilt R3 unit.

In addition, over on the Truro Tractors stand the SANY dealers for the South West, MH Groundworks also had a new SY155U hydraulic excavator on display complete with an R4 Rototilt unit.

The team are clearly passionate about machinery and the game changing attachments, and I’m looking forward to paying them a visit with my Earthmovers Magazine hat on to report on the business in more depth in the not-too-distant future.
