Sunward Set to Shine at Hillhead

Chinese manufacturer Sunward will be showcasing seven of its products at Hillhead this week, including a machine making its UK debut.

Sunward Set to Shine at Hillhead

The European based team and representatives from their UK dealers will have plenty to show visitors to stand Y2 at the largest UK show this year.

The UK debutant, which slots into the mini excavator range between the SWE 35UF and SWE 60UF models, will be the 5-tonne class SWE 50UF zero tailswing model, which was revealed to the public during Intermat earlier this year.

Powered by a well proven Kubota D1803-T engine and brimming with other blue-chip components, the machine features a user-friendly design, with a well-appointed cab for those long days in the seat, and of course a very competitive price is assured.

Complementing these machines will be Sunwards best-selling mini excavator in the UK the 2.5-tonne SWE 25UF, once again a zero tailswing machine, which is legally towable and is at home on tight and congested job sites.

Sunward will also present its electric powered 2-tonne class machine the SWE 20FED which was the manufacturers first electric powered machine and was based on the best seller in the European market, the SWE 20F internal combustion engine powered model.

Biggest machine on the static display will be the 16-tonne class, SWE 155UF-2PB (two-piece boom) model which made its UK debut at Plantworx last year. This machine is powered by a Stage V emissions compliant 90kw Cummins diesel engine, and features a high performance Hengli hydraulic system.

The machine on the working demo area will be the latest version of 21-tonne class SWE 215F-5A. Power once again comes from a 6-cylinder Stage V emissions compliant Cummins B6.7 diesel engine.

Once again Sunward will have Instagram plant operator Mark Brewster aka @brewster_stickpuller running the machine on the demo plot, so make sure you pop along to see him in action.
