Big XCMG shipment to USA
Chinese construction machinery manufacturer XCMG recently shipped more than 100 machines to North America and the boarding process made impressive viewing. The exported XCMG road machinery and excavators are specially adapted for the North American market, meeting the EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standard.
XCMG is currently investing heavily in North America, having already set up a research centre there. The company is also developing its local marketing and service system capabilities in the region, and is collaborating with many ‘famous equipment leasing companies’ to develop a new partnership model in North America.
XCMG appears to have coped well with the coronavirus pandemic thus far. According to customs export data of the construction machinery industry, XCMG's exports increased by more than 20% and self-support exports by nearly 50% amid the severe situation of industry exports falling by 20% in January and February due to the Spring Festival holiday and COVID-19 outbreak in 2020. In April, XCMG announced that it has resumed full production.
