Caddick Construction opens new office in Cumbria
Caddick Construction has opened a new satellite office in Kendal, Cumbria, after winning a number of significant projects in the region. The new office at Helm Bank will provide a permanent base for key members of the north west team and is located on the outskirts of Kendal. The satellite office will run in tandem to the firm’s current headquarters at Warrington, where the bulk of the Caddick North West team are based. It is hoped that having a local presence will enable the business to develop further opportunities in the North Lancashire and Cumbria area and assist in developing both client and supply chain relationships.
Caddick North West Managing Director Ian Threadgold said, “We chose Kendal primarily because of the number of projects we have won in the region, and quite a few of our staff also live locally. Having a local base is ideal for us and our clients, and it also shows Caddick’s commitment to the area which we hope will continue to grow in the coming years.”
Projects that Caddick is currently working on across Cumbria include the £5m Beehive Business Park in Ulverston providing retail units for Marks & Spencer, Aldi & Screwfix; and a new £4.2m retail park at Gateway 44 for Carlisle City Council. Recent projects already successfully completed in the region include the £4.2m Jaguar Land Rover dealership (pictured) at Kendal for Kentdale Motors and the £6.7m Mercedes-Benz dealership in Carlisle for Sytner.
