GROUND DEVELOPMENTS IN GLASGOW

Ground Developments has begun work to remediate the remaining land within the Sighthill Transformational Regeneration Area (TRA) of Glasgow, the biggest project of its type in the UK outside of London. The Sighthill TRA will be developed to provide 860 new homes, a school, shops and a pedestrian bridge into the city centre. Ground Developments’ work includes the excavation of contaminated materials, screening out and picking out any harmful materials and modifying site-won materials.

In other news, Ground Developments has announced the latest additions to its fleet: a new Wirtgen WR240i stabilisation mixer, together with a Streumaster binder spreader mounted on a Hydrema 6x6 chassis.
