Hyundai wheel loader for Herbst
For the first time in its history, German civil engineering company Herbst Tiefbau has ordered a brand new Hyundai HL955A wheel loader based solely on the advert and data sheet for the machine, from Hyundai dealer Fischer & Schweiger GmbH in Zusmarshausen.
The company needed a new wheel loader for road construction, work in gravel pits and loading construction materials. Herbst chose the latest model of Hyundai's A-series, equipped with a Stage 5 engine. The new addition to the company fleet arrived in January 2020, with a standard bucket, central lubrication and rock tyres. The machine operates for around 400 hours a year at various job sites. Other highlights of the Hyundai HL955A wheel loader include a 149kW Cummins QSB6.7 engine with all-in-one exhaust aftertreatment system, an operating weight of 15,100 kg, a tipping load of 11,580 kg, and a bucket volume of up to 3.2 cubic metres.
