Leading earthmover tyre specialist adds its innovation and expertise to the NTDA
T&C Site Services, the UK's largest independent earthmover tyre specialist with over 45 years of industry experience, has announced its membership of the National Tyre Distributors Association (NTDA), with Managing Director Trevor Adams appointed to the NTDA Executive Council to represent the interests of the specialist tyre sector of the UK tyre trade.
The announcement marks a significant milestone for T&C Site Services, which has established itself as a leader in earthmover and OTR tyre services across the United Kingdom. Founded in 1978 by Trevor and Christine Adams, the company has grown from a family enterprise into an industry leader, currently managing over 32,000 tyres and completing more than 10,500 specialist jobs in the last financial year.
Commenting on the new addition to the NTDA’s membership, NTDA CEO Stefan Hay stated: "There is a strong synergy between the NTDA’s ongoing efforts to elevate professional standards across all sectors of the UK tyre industry and the innovation demonstrated by T&C Site Services. We are excited to be in discussions to develop a new licence tailored specifically for earthmover, plant and OTR tyre technicians based, amongst other things, on a best practice programme that Trevor and his team, in collaboration with one of our approved training providers, Roadside Safety Ltd, have created. In addition, Trevor’s appointment to the Executive Council is part of a series of strategic appointments we will be making over the coming months to ensure better representation of specialist tyre providers at leadership level within the Association."
Operating from eight strategic locations across the UK, T&C Site Services has built its reputation on exceptional technical expertise and continuous innovation. The company recently launched a pioneering carbon balancing initiative to offset the carbon footprint of OTR tyres while supporting armed service veterans through Nature Based Therapy. This environmental leadership runs alongside technical innovations like the Infinity Grabber™, a universal wheel-handling solution, and the development of flexible contract types to meet evolving customer needs.
"Joining the NTDA represents our commitment to driving industry standards forward," says Trevor Adams, Managing Director of T&C Site Services. "As a company that has always prioritised technical excellence, innovation, and safety in the specialist tyre sector, we look forward to contributing to the NTDA's mission of promoting best practices and professional development across the UK tyre trade."
The company's commitment to excellence is underpinned by ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 accreditations, with its team of IMI-qualified technicians bringing over 215 years of combined fitting experience, supported by 160 years of operational management expertise. Operating one of the UK's largest specialist tyre maintenance fleets, with 46 custom-built vehicles, T&C Site Services continues to set new standards in the earthmover tyre sector.
