More Big Dozer Action
Its almost incredible to think that its now over 7 years since we were one of a selected number of social media content creators invited by Liebherr to the 2016 edition of Bauma, in Munich, where among a whole raft of other machines, the company premiered its largest dozer offering the PR 776.
This 70-tonne class dozer, Liebherr’s first High-Drive model, actually has a maximum operating weight of 74 tonnes and is equipped with blade capacities of 18,5 m³ (semi-U blade) or 22 m³ (U blade). This giant dozer features the infinitely variable hydrostatic travel drive, which is used for all crawler tractors from Liebherr.

The PR 776 is powered by a Liebherr 12-cylinder diesel engine developing a whopping 565 kW (768 HP / 759 HP). Liebherr’s dozers are rapidly gaining friends around the world, with end users reporting excellent fuel consumption levels with increased performance and reliability built-in.
Operator feedback suggests that the cab comfort levels are superb, and that safety is further enhanced by the increased visibility levels to the blade, to the ripper and all-around the job site.

One has to say, they are a stunning looking dozer, especially in the white livery.
