New Bergmann electric dumpers
Since 2016, the Bergmann development team has been successively retrofitting all series-produced dumpers in the class up to 3,500kg with an emission-free and environmentally friendly electric drive. With the aim of offering a complete electric range and making use of the advantages and design freedom of electric drives, the German development team has enormously simplified the operation and service for all models. But above all, the focus was on the safety aspect, so that in the end the operators can do their work on intuitively operable as well as safe machines.
A total of seven basic models, each available with different body versions in the payload class from 300kg to 3,500kg, suggests how closely the manufacturer is in dialogue with its customers during development. The experiences and findings from the market – from construction companies, rental companies and sales organisations – formed the basis for a scalable battery drive concept that is used for dumpers from 800 to 3,500kg.
The new Bergmann range consists of three hand-operated wheel dumpers with all-wheel and articulated steering up to 800kg payload. The wheel dumper programme for the driver ranges from a 900kg dumper with a width of 980mm, to a 1,500kg dumper as a round dumper with a width of 1,250mm, to the largest Bergmann series dumper with 3,500kg at a width of 1,500mm, and all models have a drive-through height of less than 2,000mm.
To round off the wheel dumper range, the Bergmann range has also been extended to include initially an electric track dumper in the class up to 800kg payload, which is available as a front tip dumper, self-loader and as a high tip dumper with Bergmann battery technology.
The Bergmann drive concept is used in all new models. The battery, developed and manufactured in-house, is at the heart of this. The scalable 80V lithium-iron phosphate battery meets the highest safety standards and boasts an enormously long service life.
The entire electric dumper family will be presented to the trade public for the first time at bauma 2022 in Munich and will be available from Bergmann sales partners, numerous rental stations and directly from Bergmann from October 2022.
Bergmann has set itself the goal of being able to offer the ideal transport vehicle for every construction site - in the urban sector with the largest electric dumper range and numerous equipment options, as well as in the large compact class with vehicles from 4,000kg to 25,000kg payload.
The Bergmann team offers a range of financing options or rental concepts for all models, which are always based on the requirements and needs of the customers.
