New Cat M319 and M320 wheeled excavators
Cat has launched new M319 and M320 wheeled excavators to replace M319F and M320F models respectively. Both machines are powered by a Stage 5 emissions-compliant Cat C4.4 engine with 174hp.
Featuring a compact radius design and using up to 5% less fuel than before, the M319 is said to deliver up to 15% more swing torque than the previous model, while the M320 offers 9% more than its predecessor. To increase machine flexibility, auxiliary hydraulic options of high- and medium-pressure circuits with one/two-way pressure flow allow contractors to tailor machine configuration for using a wide range of Cat attachments.
In the Next Gen Cat cabs, there’s a 10in touchscreen linked to jog dial, plus tilt-up console to ease entry. Viscous mounts reduce noise and vibration levels, while an optional 360-degree camera system boosts safety on the jobsite (rear-view and right-hand side cameras are standard). Deluxe spec cabs have a heated and air-adjustable seat, while the Premium spec offers a seat that is heated, ventilated and automatically adjusts.
Key stats for the M319 include a 21,050kg maximum weight, 1,900mm tail swing, 5,750mm digging depth, 9,210mm reach and 7,790mm loading height. Stats for the new Cat M320 include a 21,200kg maximum weight, a 6,030mm digging depth, 9,290mm reach at ground level and a 6,960mm loading.
