Stolen digger found in Poland
A digger stolen from a building site in Dorset has been tracked down about 1,200 miles away in Poland.
Two diggers were reported stolen from a building site in Ringwood Road in Ferndown, Dorset on 1 April. The Hitachi digger was located five months later in Pruchnik, Poland after the police investigated. The digger will be shipped back to the UK and reunited with its owner.
Dorset Police worked with Interpol, Polish police and other intelligence teams to locate the digger. The JCB digger is still missing.
