Wacker Neuson is presenting new machines for Spring 2025
Wacker Neuson is extending its line of reversible center plates with a compaction performance between 52 and 62 kilonewtons, operating widths of 47 cm, 60 cm, and 75 cm, and petrol or diesel engines. The new generation of DPU52, DPU62, BPU52 and BPU62 features very good steering and ergonomics, as well as optimal driving characteristics, thereby guaranteeing smooth and efficient work. Extensive auxiliary functions, like the LED operating panel and the digital machine control with Bluetooth connectivity, compaction control, telematics, and machine diagnostics are optionally available for the diesel versions.
Wacker Neuson presents an extensive range of new reversible battery-powered vibratory plates with centrifugal forces of 28 and 33 kilonewtons and working widths of 40, 50 and 60 centimeters. The battery-powered vibratory plates APU28 and APU33 are very easy to operate: The direction of travel is changed using the proven hydraulic adjustment system, just as in conventional models. The plates are characterized by their great maneuverability. The battery-powered plates are driven by the robust Battery One battery, which is used in all battery-powered equipment from Wacker Neuson – as well as from other manufacturers. The push-button start supports an easy operation for all operators, regardless of their experience. Due to the low overall height, the plates of the APU series are also suited for use in the trench shoring. All plates are equipped with the DireX direct drive, developed by Wacker Neuson. It ensures the transfer of power without loss of transmission or friction and therefore longer running times and less maintenance.
The e-excavator EZ26e with a 2.6 ton payload expands the series of fully electric excavators and is in no way inferior to the diesel models. It is available in two battery sizes, 30 kWh and 39 kWh. The mini-excavator is a zero-tail model designed without rear overhang. This makes it particularly maneuverable and compact, and therefore ideal for application on confined construction sites or indoors. In combination with its low weight, the EZ26e including attachments, can be transported on a 3.5 ton trailer.
Wacker Neuson presents the independent and TÜV-certified “Certified Battery Check”. This adhoc analysis of the battery status enables customers to determine the battery status of their own machine transparently and independently, to increase the resale value of used machines, and to obtain a better expectation regarding battery capacity and service life. With a pre-configured test unit, the so-called “logger”, and a simple web-application, the battery analysis can be performed both quickly and easily. The “State of Health” certificate is available within two working days. The battery analysis is initially available for the EZ17e excavator, further models will follow.
With the new e-wheel loader WL300e with an operating weight of around 2.5 tons, there is a total of three fully electric models available from Wacker Neuson for a variety of applications. The WL300e in particular stands out in terms of comfort and safety, because the dampened operator’s cabin ensures comfortable and quiet working conditions. The new, optionally available loading system with a lift height of approx. 2.3 meters clearly increases the tipping load of the machine and ensures an ideal view of the working environment and the attachment.
With a new model series WL750, WL950 and WL1150 of wheel loaders, Wacker Neuson provides even greater efficiency and comfort on the construction site. The optimized cabin increases safety and comfort: The widened access makes frequent entering and exiting easier; the panorama front and rear windshields provide an optimal all-round view of the working environment, and ergonomically arranged control elements make it easier to concentrate at work. The easy service access of all three models enables efficient maintenance and therefore maximization of the machine’s running time. In future, customers can recognize the bucket volume from the figures in the model name: WL750 = 0.75 cubic meters bucket volume.
The DW10 and DW15 dumpers with a payload of 1 and 1.5 tons are characterized by a variety of safety functions and a high level of operating comfort. For example, the handles and particularly low access in the signal color make it easier for the operator to enter and exit the machine. Seatbelt monitoring with optional start approval increases safety on the construction site. Joystick operation enables the operator to always have one hand on the steering wheel—even while operating the skip. The hill-hold function prevents the machine from rolling back on slopes as soon as the foot is taken off the gas pedal.
