Washing and recycling plants sale

Duo and Euro Auctions have announced a massive one-day sale of complete washing and recycling plants, screeners, crushers, excavators, loaders and ancillary aggregate processing equipment, to be held on April 23rd. This 'stock refresh' is part of a new expansion programme by Duo, which has acquired a new site in Coventry. As part of this process, the Burton-on-Trent site will be decommissioned, and all equipment will be sold on the ground to make way for the new venture.

The stars of the sale will be five Terex AggreSand 165 washing plants, and three Italian Technoidea 1000 filter presses. The AggreSand 165 modular aggregate washing plant combines washing and screening with sand processing on a modular chassis.  It brings together tried and trusted Terex Washing Systems components in an innovative modular design, setting itself apart from other washing systems in the marketplace. This will be the first time that not one, but five plants of this nature will have been offered for sale on the open market. The Technoidea 1000 range of automatic filter presses can be used in various sectors where dewatering of liquid sludge is required. On the day, five of these will also go under the hammer.

Euro Auctions has been appointment as valuer and auctioneer to manage the disposal of aggregate washing and recycling machinery and equipment on behalf of Duo. As with other Euro Auctions sales, all auctions are unreserved public events, meaning all lots are sold on the day to the highest bidder. There are no minimum bids; no reserve prices and no buy backs. Before the auction, you may sign up for a free account and start to save searches on the Euro Auctions website. Add items to a watchlist and leave pre-bids. When you have found the item you want, you can bid in three ways: on-site and in person at the live auction on the day; online, using Euro Auctions’ secure bidding platform; and via pre-bid left in advance of the auction.

To obtain a bidding number for this auction, register on line by going online to the Euro Auctions website or register 'on site' on the viewing day, or the sale day. The sale takes place at Duo’s Drakelow site in Burton-on-Trent (DE15 9UA). A viewing day takes place the day before the auction, on April 22nd.
