CASE Back on the Road

The CASE Construction Equipment Roadshow is back on its tour across Europe with the first two events already taken place in Germany and Italy respectively this, and rolling into France this week on the 7th and 8th June.

CASE Back on the Road

Formerly more well known as Eagle Days, the popular event gives CASE Construction Equipment customers and media from right across Europe, the chance to try out a wide range of some of the latest CASE equipment on offer.

Customers for sure will be keen to try out the recently launched new CASE wheeled excavators, with 4 examples being made available including the WX140E, WX155E SR, WX160E and WX175E SR.

Of particular interest to me will be the opportunity to try a number of models from the new D-Series mini excavator range and the new E-Series crawler excavator line-up.

The D-Series mini excavator range at the roadshow is expected to include the preview of the second fully electric model: CX25EV, which will be launched in the second half of 2023. It has a 25kW electric motor with a 32.3 kWh lithium-ion battery, that can be recharged in less than 2 hours with an external fast charger and provides a full working day autonomy in standard working conditions for a mini excavator of this size.

Visitors can expect to see the first E-series Midi : CX75E, a 7.5ton excavator featuring 2-piece-boom, which will also be launched later this year. Of course, previous CX75 models in the CASE line-up were based on Sumitomo machines, but this new model comes from the Sampierana tie up following the purchase by CNH, a very interesting machine to take a look at I’m sure!

Wheeled loaders and the 836C and 856C motor graders will also be presented at these events.

Over the years on the blog, I have been fortunate enough to attend a number of CASE Rodeo Challenge events including the Finals which used to be held in France, I’m delighted to report that the Rodeo Challenge is back during these events, where operators can demonstrate their skills at the controls of the latest CASE kit.

The UK leg of the Roadshow will take place over the 14th – 15th of September at a venue to be decided at time of writing, I will be there and I hope to see some of you too!
