Cat’s current largest scraper in action
Roving plant enthusiast/reporter Chris Maginnis, the man behind the Awesome Earthmovers channel has recently spent time in California, America with another internet plant sensation Aaron Witt of Buildwitt Media.
During Chris’s time in California Aaron took him to see a Caterpillar 657G which is owned and operated by San Diego based LB3 Enterprises, a company which was founded by Larry Brown and has over 60 years’ experience in the earthmoving, grading and underground utilities sectors.
Somewhat surprisingly the 657G was being push loaded by a Cat D8T tractor which compared to the 657 looks like a Tonka Toy. But apparently it was not deemed to be financially viable to have a D10 on site to perform the pushing as there was only a single scraper deployed on this site. Anyway, enjoy the video which is of excellent quality as we have come to expect from Chris.
