Countdown is on for 'In the Metal' Develon Reveal

In less than two weeks’ time the public will get to see the new brand name for Doosan as the company showcases its new brand Develon branding on its machines, at one of the biggest construction machinery and equipment stages in the world, ConExpo-Con/Agg 2023 14th – 18th March.

As well as the all-new branding, the company is also going to be displaying new models in its equipment line up at Conexpo-Con/Agg, including a new dozer model the DD130, and the DX20ZE-7 electric mini excavator for the first time in North America.

The medium-duty sized DD130 which competes in the 140hp sector, is the second dozer in the Doosan/Develon range and will join its smaller 122hp brother the previously launched DD100 model (seen below) in the dozer line up. Both of these units will be on the stand at ConExpo at their booth F9153 at the Festival Grounds.

Also making an appearance will be the exclusive ‘Transparent Bucket’ for Doosan/Develon wheel loaders, and a battery-powered engine.

Cutting-edge technologies will also be on display such as Concept-X demonstrations, safety features and electrification will be featured. The Doosan/Develon exhibit will also showcase autonomous equipment, the new Smart X-Care fleet management service and the topography-scanning drone Concept-X XiteCloud.

The Concept-X autonomous worksite will feature three live demonstrations each day, along with other new products. First exhibited in 2019 with an autonomous Doosan wheel loader and excavator, Concept-X is a smart control solution to tomorrow’s worksites.

This technology can survey worksite topography via 3D drone scanning, establish operational plans based on that data, and operate heavy construction equipment such as excavators, wheel loaders and articulated dump trucks without human intervention.

So, there will be plenty to see on the stand, I’m aiming to be there on the Wednesday afternoon for a good look around with some exclusive video content to come, so plenty to look forward too.
