Digger Buckets V Chieftain Tank!

The team at Yorkshire based bucket and attachment business Rhinox Group, are always producing new and engaging social media content, in their latest offering they put some of their buckets too the test in an entertaining way!

Digger Buckets V Chieftain Tank!

In their latest video, they caught up with another You Tube sensation Mr Hewes who has gathered a good following on the video hosting channel, by finding unusual vehicles, predominantly military machines, fixing them up and having fun with his pals while doing so.

Rhinox got in touch with him, to see if he could help in performing a stunt which would see him track over some of their buckets with a 55-tonne MK11 Chieftain tank, which was once the main battle tank for the British army to demonstrate the strength and durability of the buckets.

The buckets were strategically lined up ahead of the tank to form a ramp, and were suitable for excavators in the 1.5 tonne, 3.0 tonne and 7.0 tonne weight classes.

In all fairness the weight of the tank is very well spread out and it has road going tracks on it, if they had put the big Cat D9G that is parked up there over them, it may have been a very different end result, but in the spirit of the post, its was a fun thing to do and has made for a nice little video, so full credit to everyone concerned, check it out below!
