Ever Wondered How They Build a Volvo ADT?

Our recent visit to the Volvo Construction Equipment articulated hauler facility in Braås, Sweden was a real eye opener.

Due to the fact that I wanted to spend more time with the new Volvo ADT’s out on the test track for my Earthmovers Magazine test drive report, I never actually got to take the tour around the factory floor.

So, on my return home, I was delighted to discover this new video from Volvo Construction Equipment, that gives us a brief insight into the world of fabricating the ADT’s.

I have visited a lot of factories and fabrication facilities over the years, and even after so many of them, I’m always amazed to witness flat sheets of steel go in at one end, and fully built and painted new machines roll out the other end, whether that be on wheels or tracks, it’s always and amazing spectacle to witness.

So, without further delay, lets follow the process in this awesome video from the team at Volvo CE.
