Excavator gets help from a small friend

Here is another cracking photo that is currently doing the rounds on the internet at the moment, which I thought I would share with the Digger Man Blog masses.

We have all had those times when we have to get out of the cab and shovel dirt out from the bucket before the concrete arrives for the footings, or dig out the tracks before moving onto the next site, but can you imagine having to clean out the bucket of a giant Bucyrus 495 HF face shovel? Well the guys in this shot clearly have the answer; you simply deploy a tiny 30 ton class Komatsu hydraulic excavator to do the dirty work for you!

There is not much if any detail on where this shot was taken, but I think in this instance you will agree, a picture speaks a thousand words.
