Gearing Up for Bauma (Hyundai Construction Equipment)

With the world’s largest construction machinery trade fair Bauma just weeks away, its time to start taking a brief look at what we can expect to see from some of the exhibitors, starting with HD Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe.

Gearing Up for Bauma (Hyundai Construction Equipment)

Hyundai Construction Equipment’s European arm will be showcasing a number of new products at Bauma including the battery electric HX19e a machine that will compete in the 2-tonne class sector, with an operating weight of 2,296kg when equipped with a full cab and the large capacity battery pack.

Main bullet points include; Choice of battery packs, with best-in-class storage capacity.

More than six hours of operating autonomy

Type 2 electric vehicle charging capability

5-year Hi-Mate telematic subscription asstandard

Biodegradable Panolin VG46 hydraulic reduces contamination risk

High specification with safety valves on boom, arm and dozer

The HX19e will be offered with a choice of two lithium-ion battery packs, delivering 32kWh and a market-leading 40kWh capacity, which is almost double the capacity of some competitor machines.

The 40kWh battery will allow customers to work for up to 6.7 hours between charges, with a break time top-up delivering full shift useability.

Also of great interest will be the launch of HS80V and HS120V skid steer loaders and the HT100V compact tracked loader, all of which are powered by EU Emissions compliant Hyundai Stage V diesel engines.

Other machines of interest will be the HD130A dozer, the HW250A MH material handler and of course the latest version of their HW155H hydrogen powered wheeled excavator concept, plus lots more in terms of new technology.

Its always a stand of great interest for me, so I will hopefully see some of you there!
