Hitting the Ice with Bobcat

As this blog post goes live, I will be waking up in Prague in the Czech Republic ahead of the latest Bobcat Demo Days event, which is always one of the highlights of the year, and kicks off tomorrow.

While I wait and ponder on what the Bobcat EMEA team will have to show us this year, both in equipment and innovation wise, there will be time for a bit of tourism around this incredibly beautiful city, which coincidentally this year is playing host to the Men’s Ice Hockey World Championship competition, which has seen thousands of hockey fans from all over the world descend on the Czech capital.

Now, the team at Bobcat here are well aware that I was a former ice hockey player and still remain a big fan of the sport to this day, with that in mind they have kindly arranged for me and some selected guests to attend today’s early match which sees Great Britain take on Norway at the impressive 17,383-seater O2 Arena, which is the third largest hockey rink in Europe, so an exciting afternoon is in prospect!

“Living the dream” I would say, Ice Hockey and Bobcat compact construction equipment, what more can a man want!

Now Bobcat know a thing or two about snow and ice clearance, but I am seriously hoping they won’t be showcasing this ice destroying attachment ahead of the game!
