Holp Puts the Spin into Bauma
Family based attachment business Holp GmbH showcased a wide range of its products on home turf at Bauma 2025.
Holp’s RotoTop rotation attachment is gaining friends around the world as a cost effective and high-quality alternative to other options on the market. These units can maximise productivity and help to cut down on the need for additional labour, whilst also offering savings on fuel costs.
Holp was demonstrating their products on the demo plot attached to a Kubota KX085-5 and a JCB 245XR both of which attracted a lot of attention over the course of the week.
Having tried the RotoTop out myself, during a visit to the Holp facility in Murrhardt-Fornsbach, it was really surprising of what you can achieve with just rotation alone, without the need for expensive tilt rotation units. These units are also a lot simpler with no expensive electronics involved, and are super strong, with a low build height and strength built in for long hours of arduous working, all backed by a significant 3-year or 3,000 operational hours warranty.
Holp offers rotary drives for excavators weighing as little as 600 kg, up to machines reaching 45 tonnes, the RotoTop range boasts 11 finely tuned models, each designed to cater to specific operational needs. These drives are lightweight and don’t compromise the performance of the excavators, allowing for smooth, uninterrupted work.

But its doesn’t just end with RotoTop, the company offers at least seven other attachments for specific work all of which can improve the way you do things, including the CutWheel and the MultiGrip bucket which was also being demonstrated on the demo area at the show.

From my observations, originally coming from a civil engineering contractor’s perspective, the team at Holp understand what is needed to make the day-to-day job’s easier and more efficient and its that knowledge that sets them apart from others.
