Hyundai shovel fits the bill for Boughton Loam

Boughton Loam and Turf Management Ltd, part of The Bennie Group has purchased a new 9A series Hyundai HL760 Loading shovel for their Kettering base from the Hyundai Central England Dealer, Willowbrook Plant Services, based in Corby Northamptonshire.

The Hyundai HL760-9A loading shovel was delivered to the Boughton Loam site last week complete with two loading buckets weighing in at 1.7tonnes each. One of the buckets is fitted with a bladed edge and the other with standard teeth. In addition, the HL760-9A was fitted with the Groeneveld Twin Autolube Lubrication System. This dual line Twin system is used in machines and vehicles operating under severe conditions for continuous periods of time. Twin guarantees that all pivoting points that need lubrication are constantly greased, ensuring that the availability of the vehicles is not endangered as a result of unanticipated problems due to bad lubrication. Boughton Loam, the loam and topsoil division operate from a purpose built production facility in Kettering, Northamptonshire - an area well known for its excellent source of raw materials, Boughton supply and produce high quality soils, composts, decorative aggregates, sands, peat, bark mulch and landscape growing media for the UK Market. The HL760-9A was delivered and commissioned at Telford Way premises and immediately put into operation. Kitted out with an extra counterweight and Ulrich Hydraulic Coupler which allows for a ‘quick change’ of buckets this minimizes down-time. Lee Wesby, production manager at Boughton Loam said, “Willowbrook Plant Services approached us as they knew we were in the market for a new machine. We tried a Volvo, Bell and the Hyundai wheeled loader and we chose the Hyundai.  The price was good and Willowbrook’s sales man Brian Conn was very helpful and provided a good level of service.” Mr Wesby concluded, “We have only had the machine for a week but in the short time we have had it I can say it’s performing well!”
