Hyundai tree felling treble are a cut above the rest for Drew Graham Contracting
Drew Graham Contracting, based to the North of Glasgow, bought three Hyundai R210LC-9 excavators. These machines were supplied by Scottish Hyundai dealer Young Plant Sales. Before delivery the machines undercarriages were converted by LGP (Low Ground Specialist) specialists JCC Engcon Group.
Work on the machines was extensive and involved widening and lengthening the track frames and fitting specialist 1600mm wide track plates. Extra guarding and hydraulic works were also undertaken by JCC and Young Plant fitted extra lighting. The machines are working on long term forestry contracts in the North of Scotland with various specialist attachments.
Drew Graham said ''I have added the three R210-9's as both Young Plant and Hyundai were flexible in understanding exactly what I wanted out of the machines and worked well with JCC to deliver on time. The Hyundai machines are fairly simple, yet productive and to date have very quickly clocked over 4500hrs with very few problems.”
Drew added, ''When working in remote locations reliable machinery is a must and the Hyundai's do not worry me. I also know that if a major problem should develop, the Young Plant backup will rectify it without fuss.''

It has certainly opened up the door to sell more machines in to this particular industry.”
