JCB 4CX Impresses Scottish Owner & Operator Alike

Earlier this year Nicol of Skene took delivery of a brand new JCB 4CX, but not just any 4CX, this was a Platinum Pro model on of only 70 special edition models made.

The backhoe loader is experiencing a bit of a resurgence at the moment, as end users are once again looking at the benefits that a machine of many talents can bring to a business. In the right hands there is nothing more versatile than a backhoe loader especially one that is kitted out like Nicol’s latest addition.

The JCB 4CX Platinum Pro has been supplied with an Engcon Direct Mount – EC209BS tiltrotator, which as we know from past experience, is an absolute game changer for any machine.

When the new machine was delivered it was proudly showcased outside the company’s offices next to a fully refurbished MK1 JCB backhoe which had been fully restored by their own workshop supervisor.

Aberdeen based Family-owned business Nicol of Skene, have a long-standing relationship with the JCB product through their dealer Scot Plant.

The proud operator of the new machine is long standing JCB man Graham Barnett who was presented with the keys by Managing Director Derek Nicol. And as you will see in the video below, he has nothing but praise for his new mount.
