Latest 3-Series Takeuchi’s to Star at Hillhead

Fans of the red & grey are in for a treat on the Takeuchi stand (S2) at Hillhead next week.

Latest 3-Series Takeuchi’s to Star at Hillhead

Popular manufacturer Takeuchi will be exhibiting the latest additions to the 3-Series range of mini and midi excavators.

The new 2-tonne class TB320 is sure to be of great interest to visitors. The mini excavator/tool carrier has been designed for multi attachment use, something that has become more and more popular in recent years.

The machine, which features the new 3-Series styling inside and out, comes fitted with proportional control on auxiliary 1 & 2, 3rd auxiliary is pre piped for quick hitch, whilst an optional 4th auxiliary can be specified as a factory fit. With a 40l/min oil flow rate this 2-tonner is adaptable for a wide variety of hydraulic attachments including: augers, flail mowers, post knockers and tiltrotators across a wide variety of end users.

With increased engine power and excellent breakout force (17.0kN/ 9.1kN), this 2-tonne mini delivers power performance when required. The long arm, heavy counterweight and longer track frame add to stability when digging deep (2370mm).

Safe to tow on a trailer and with matching pin and linkage dimensions of a TB216, the TB320 is a welcome addition to the range.

Hot on the heels of its appearance at Plantworx last year the latest version of the TB395 wheeled excavator will be on the stand. The machine now features 4WS with Crab-Mode, and mudguards as a factory fit option.

The enhanced versatility of 4WS / 4WS-Crab and 2WS ensures improved traction and manoeuvrability on today’s close quarter urban sites and is a long-awaited feature on this model.

Another rubber duck that will be making its first UK appearance is the TB370W.

We recently saw the official European launch of this machine during Intermat in Paris, where it was generating huge interest. The compact duck sector continues to grow rapidly, and this machine which is based on the tracked TB370 which incredibly was launched 4 years ago, will be a great fit on the market.

The machine comes as standard with 2-piece (TAB) boom which makes it even more appealing for customers and operators alike, especially for those working in cities.

There is a little wait for the machine though, as it is expected to be available to purchase from January 2025.

Takeuchi will have a much bigger stand this year and you can expect a warm welcome from the ever-friendly team as you take a look at the extensive range of new excavators on show from 1-15-tonnes.
