LiuGong’s 50 tonner hits the UK

The UK’s first LiuGong 950E 50 tonne class hydraulic excavators are starting to arrive in the country and a number have already been sold to a well-known London based demolition company.

LiuGong’s 950E has been available in other markets for some considerable time, all be it with different engines for less regulated markets. However they are only just filtering through to the UK sector complete with Tier 4 final engines. We first caught sight of a LiuGong 950E “in the iron” during our visit to the Bauma Trade Fair in Munich last year, but I expect to be getting up close and personal with the new machines on home soil in the not too distant future.

We expect to be seeing even larger LiuGong excavators arriving in the UK soon including a 70 tonne class offering, in addition to some new and long awaited mini excavators, but in the meantime check out this promotional video from LiuGong featuring the 950E in action.
