Why we all Love a Takeuchi
If you are a fan of the old red and grey, you probably already know why these machines are so highly rated by contractors, owner operators and civil engineering businesses up and down the country and indeed around the globe.
As my editor always tells me, I like to keep it real, and as such I have to admit, that ever since I operated my first Takeuchi many years ago, I have been a big fan. I have had the pleasure of running quite a few of them over the years, and as is well documented, I even owned a TB235 for a few years, before my life circumstances changed and that cracking machine sadly, had to be sold.

Of course, in the early days they did tend to be a bit basic in the cab, it had everything you could need, but without the automotive styling that we are used to today. However, in recent years they have really caught up with other brands on the cab interior side of things.

For many years Takeuchi machines have been the excavator of choice for utilities contractors in particular and they always tell me the same thing, that they are unbeatable in the market, especially for the type of work they undertake working in close proximity to live services.

But above all else, the Takeuchi brand has become synonymous for their smoothness of the hydraulics, combined with power, precision and overall reliability.
I absolutely love this video compilation, which coincidentally was posted on Valentines Day last week, which features not only great machines, but some very familiar faces who are dedicated Takeuchi fans, enjoy!
