MPS (South West) to offer Holp

Hot on the heels of taking on the Hidromek dealership for the South West of England, MPS South West Ltd have now added German attachment specialists Holp GMBH to its product portfolio, and will become the distributor for England and Wales

Based in Murrhardt, some 50km from Stuttgart where Mercedes Benz vehicles are made, Holp has some very clever designers & engineers on board and the kit is exceptionally strong according to Jason McCullough the Managing Director of MPS (South West) Ltd, who had done his research well and also visited the facilities in Germany to see for himself first hand.

Jason sees a lot of potential in the Holp ROTOTOP unit in particular, which offers continuous 360 degree rotation and can effectively do 90% of what a conventional tiltrotator can do for half the price, talking about the product Jason said, “I have been looking for something simple and cost effective like this for some time. These units don’t have all the electronics and valves, that are prone to problems and often give a lot of trouble like we see on most of the tiltrotators out there, so it seems like a great solution all round.

I believe that being half the price and not needing to replace the buckets to S coupler style could also be a turning point for some people that have been unsure about the transition into the full tiltrotator market, simpler is better in my opinion, but don’t get me wrong, full on’ tiltys’ still have their place but this is a much more cost effective solution”.

A.J. Armstrong & Sons are also now the Holp GMBH distributors for the whole of Ireland, while Kattrack International will be supplying them into the Scottish market.

I personally have seen these units being demonstrated at previous Bauma Trade Fairs, and they do look like a solid, strong and effective piece of kit, I’m looking forward to finding out more about them in due course.
