New Dash-7 Hitachi “wheelie” for J. Seppälä
When Finnish contractor J. Seppälä decided it was time to trade in his long serving Hitachi ZX140W-5B it was only natural to return to the brand which had served him so well.
The new machine which is one of the latest wheeled excavators from Hitachi’s Dash-7 range is the Zaxis 155W and has been supplied by our friends over at Finnish dealer Rotator Oy, who posted these photos on their Facebook page, which I’m delighted to share in this post.

Being a Nordic region machine, it has come as we expect to see them, fully loaded with a TAB boom assembly, and Engcon tiltrotator. The machine, features joystick steering, is also Novatron 3D machine control ready, and in addition it is fitted with a full LED lighting package including a smart Entrax flash warning light bar around the top of the counterweight.
A full central lubrication system has also been supplied in addition to a full maintenance contract.
The five-model range of Hitachi Dash-7 wheeled excavators starts with the smallest ZX135W-7, which is based on the larger ZX155W-7 and is equipped with the same engine. Top of the range is the ZX180W-7.

The ZX155W-7 is powered by the Stage 5 emissions compliant, 4-cylinder Deutz TCD4.1L4 which produces a power output rating of 105kw @2000 rpm.
