Open and shut Case

Case Construction Equipment’s Japanese Sumitomo inspired hydraulic excavators are certainly attracting a lot of attention these days, with many high profile end users purchasing them and its not hard to see why.

Open and shut Case
Smoothness of operation, reliability and industry leading fuel economy are just some of the reasons why so many customers are now choosing Case as their excavator of choice, as an operator I simply cannot fault them in any department and I know many operators I talk to say the same. DSC_0148 At Bauma Case revealed five new D Series models to the crawler excavator range, starting with the CX130D, CX160D and CX180D in the medium range and the CX490D and CX500D models from the heavy range. DSC_0143 Nearly all the dealers I talk to are reporting good sales figures, which in all fairness does not surprise me as the machines ooze quality in all departments. It will be interesting to see what impact the assembly of these machines in Italy will have over the coming months, but as I understand it, there is a team of engineers from Japan overseeing the production line at the factory ensuring the quality remains the same. Check out this promotional video which focuses on the CX490D.
