Remote Control Mini Electric Dozer/Loader
We like to bring a bit of the weird and wonderful to the pages of the Digger Man Blog, and I’m always on the lookout for something a bit different, as such, I came across this unique little remote-controlled machine over the weekend, and thought I would share it with the blog masses!
Manufactured by Quebec based, French Canadian company Movex Innovation, the Track-O Mini-Dozer M-27 as its described, is actually more of a mini loader than a dozer.
The machine, and its larger brother the M-48, has been designed to operate in hard-to-reach areas, where conventional sized machines could not possibly work. Primary applications include working to clean out box culverts, underground mining, cleaning out under conveyor belts, and cleaning out drainage pipes.
Of course, being kitted out with loader arms and a bucket, it means the material extracted can be deposited, into an excavator bucket or muck skip, and it can all be operated in noise sensitive areas and in complete safety remotely.
The company suggest that battery life can last for nearly 8 hours, but you can use interchangeable batteries to enable continuous working during long shifts.
The machine is likely to also find favour in military applications such as bomb disposal, and any other applications, like mining for example, where explosives might pose a danger to life.
