Return to the land of the tilt-rotators

The Digger Man Blog and Earthmovers Magazine are off for another flying visit to Sweden today, so what better way to get into the mood than a bit of tilt-rotator video action.

As I mentioned last week, first stop for me on this short Scandinavian tour is a visit to Stockholm to catch up with UK operator Aimee Pooley aka Duckgirl 86 who is currently plying here trade for Backstrom in and around the country’s capital city. Then if all goes to plan I head off to the factory of tilt-rotator and bucket manufacturer SMP, who like the other 3 well known Swedish brands are making good progress in the UK market these days.

As you would expect in Scandinavia I will be seeing tilt-rotator equipped machines on virtually every site I visit and in this video we see another popular addition to the arsenal of work tools the grading beam, this time one manufactured by SMP themselves being used beneath a Rototilt tilt-rotator mounted on a Hitachi Zaxis 140W wheeled excavator.
