Revotruck, a Revolution in Site Dumpers

We first caught site of Mecalac’s Revotruck during Bauma 2022, and already it feels like it’s been around for a long time, but has anyone seen one on site working?

There can be no doubt, the Revotruck is a stunning looking piece of kit, and features all the French style and flair that we have come to expect from Mecalac.

It certainly is a unique piece of engineering combining all the benefits of the so called ‘dual view’ concept with that of a small ADT.

The standout feature is the fact that unlike many two-way view dumpers, the operator doesn’t have to manually turn his seat around within the confines of the cabin, but instead with the flick of a switch, he rotates the entire cabin around.

It certainly takes the whole concept to another level and is super impressive. However, I am still yet to see one at work on a live site, something I would very much like to see. My understanding is they are quite an expensive investment, but maybe we will see some more in the future.
