Royal Cornwall Show is Back!
One of Cornwall's most popular events the Royal Cornwall Show returns today – after the forced cancellation over the past two years due to the Covid pandemic.
Once again, the Digger Man Blog will be attending the show focusing our attention as ever on the construction plant and machinery dealers stands. A show insider has told me that the polish is at the ready, and good sunny weather is on order… Fingers crossed!
This event is massive in Cornwall and is always well supported locally, its often said that normal business in the County is scaled back for the duration of the 3-day show, as for most local people, a visit to the show is quite simply a must do thing!
Local contractors and plant hire companies are always keen to have new machines on the dealer stands and we expect that to be the case once again this year, possibly an even bigger presence after the two-year hiatus caused by the pandemic.
This time around I am planning on doing some live reporting from the showground as I make my way around the various dealer stands, which if signal permits will be available on our various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, so look out for those.
The Royal Cornwall Show is held at the Wadebridge Show Ground and will begin on Thursday, June 9 and end on Saturday, June 11.
I'll be bringing some of my highlights of the show to the blog next week.
Of course, there is a lot more to the Royal Cornwall Show than just trade stands, so to get a flavour of the event, check out this promotional video featuring the last show in 2019.
