Scrapers Explained in Layman’s Terms

Although not so common anymore in the UK motor scrapers are still one of the best ways to bulk shift muck providing the conditions are favourable.

Personally, I was born to late to be involved with motor scraper work from an operating perspective, but as a kid I did get to see them in action at work with my late father. I was always mesmerized by scapers and could watch them in action for hours on end. There is just something about the whole scraper concept, the speed, power and the capacity to load, shift, spread and level which makes them the ultimate muck shifting machine!
