SL Excavations Adds a New Liebherr

Steve LaFontaine from Ottawa, in the Ontario region of Canada, has appeared on this blog a number of times over the years, and now I am delighted to report he has just taken delivery of his latest stunning machine.

Steve, who is the owner of SL Excavation Inc, has over 30 years of experience under his belt, and is a big fan of Liebherr products. In addition, he is an ambassador for Rototilt’s North American operation. He is a forward-thinking contractor and likes to specify his machines in a style similar to the way the Scandinavians do including the adoption of tiltrotators and GPS systems, in this instance he likes to use Trimble as his proven supplier.

Steve runs a R 926 Compact short tail radius hydraulic excavator, and his original choice of excavator has always been the R 924 conventional tails swing model. That machine has just been upgraded with the delivery of his brand-new R 924 machine.

As you would expect, the new machine has been fitted with a new Rototilt RC-6 tiltrotator. The machine has also been off to a sign company to have some super stylish camouflage style wrap fitted to it, which in my opinion really finishes it off.  The personalised floor mat and seat cover finish it off nicely inside the cab
