Swedish Dealer Holds Machinery Days

Last week Swedish dealers Maskinia held a popular machinery days event in Linköping, Southern Sweden.

Unfortunately we couldn’t make the event, but our great friend from CASE Construction Equipment, Ivona Nicol , was there and has shared some material from the 3-day show which ran from Thursday to Saturday inclusive.

Maskinia is the main dealer in Sweden for not only CASE, but also products from Develon and Bergmann to name a few. This year the company is celebrating 40 years in business having been established back in 1984.

Dealer Dig Day events are becoming increasingly popular across Europe as good way to engage with existing customers and potential new customers. Obviously with the photos provided by Ivona, there is a strong focus on the CASE products but visitors were able to try a wide range of products from the dealers portfolio.

With it being in Sweden, naturally most machines were sporting a tiltrotator, with the big three Swedish brands being represented.

Electric machines were also presented including the 12 EV compact wheeled loader which was launched last year.

Another electric machine the CX25 EV was also presented indoors where an operator challenge was taking place, against the clock, with a guy sporting an ice hockey referees shirt doing the stopwatch, at the time of writing no details of who the winner was are available.

Outside in the dig zone, the 15-tonne class CX145DSR and 30-tonne class CX300E hydraulic excavators were available for visitors to try out.
