The Digger Man Blog Remembers

Remembrance Day marks the time that World War One finally ended, at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, in 1918. A two-minute silence is held at 11am to remember the people who have died in wars.

The Digger Man Blog Remembers

It’s a time for us all to sit in silence, ponder and reflect on the great sacrifice of all young men and women who lost their lives in all wars, so that we can enjoy the freedoms that we do today. Even during these strange times that we are all living through at the moment, its more important than ever to pay our respects, as we will be doing at 11am today.

Our friends over at Finning UK & Ireland have also marked Remembrance Day with a display of machines on the splay outside the entrance, emblazoned with poppies as a fitting tribute to the fallen.

We salute this tribute by Finning and thank them for sharing the photos with us. “Lest we Forget”.
