Volvo CE Put on Super Show as Volvo Days 2024 Kicks Off

The blog has a very Swedish flavour in the early stages of this week, which for fans of construction machinery, can only ever be a good thing!

Last week the 2024 edition of Volvo Days kicked off a three-week period at the company’s customer centre in Eskilstuna, Sweden, with an international press day, which saw journalists and industry specialists treated to a spectacular opening show put on by their talented team of demo operators, which really set the scene for a great day learning about the manufacturers ambitious product launches and innovations to come. And to top it all, it was an extra special treat for me to be attending on my birthday!

New products on show included new excavators, in the 23, 40, and 50-tonne classes, two new rigid dump trucks, new electric wheeled loaders, and Stage V powered compact wheeled loaders, in addition they showcased an electric powered 14-tonne wheeled excavator, and the new style A40 ADT with both products to be officially launched at a later date.
