Wacker Neuson’s Dual View Goes Large
Whichever way you look at it, Wacker Neuson’s Dual View site dumper concept has been something of a game changer for the way we use dumpers, especially in the site dumper hotbed that is the UK market.
The manufacturer has just expanded the range with its largest model yet, the DV125 which features a payload 12,500kgs. Bridging the gap between a 10-tonne class site dumper and a small ADT, the DV125 is according to Wacker Neuson, a real alternative to trucks across a wide variety of material handling applications.
Likened to a site dumper on steroids, the DV125 is fitted with a whole host of safety features, including, inclination monitoring, skip grille, hill-hold function, and laminated safety glass to name a few.
The new machine has big capacity but with a compact design, and with the 180-degree rotational operator’s seat in the dual drive, the driver is ensured to have the best visibility in class when driving the machine, especially important when manoeuvring, for loading and unloading on the increasingly tight job sites.
We are looking forward to taking a look around one of these in the not-too-distant future, so lookout for that here on the Digger Man Blog and in Earthmovers Magazine.
